There is no airport in Benevento.
The nearest airport is in Naples: the Capodichino Airport, situated at about 80 km from Benevento. Alternatively, you can arrive to Rome. In Rome there are two airports: Fiumicino Airport (Leonardo da Vinci, about 32 Km from Rome) and Ciampino Airport (about 15 Km from Rome).

The best connection is the Capodichino Airport: from there you can arrive to the Railway Station Napoli Centrale by bus or by taxi. Then, you will be able to reach Benevento by train in about 01:30.

If you arrive to Rome by airplane, the best connection is the Fiumicino Airport.
From there you can take a bus, train or taxi and arrive to:
· Railway Station Roma Termini. From there you can go to Benevento by train. There are trains from Rome to Benevento about every two hours (duration about 2:20), but there are intermediate runs too.

· Railway Station Roma Tiburtina. From there you can go to Benevento by bus.
There are buses from Rome to Benevento about every four hours (duration about 02:40).

If you land to Ciampino Airport, you will have to follow a much more complicate route to arrive to Benevento. From Ciampino you must go to the Railway Station Roma Termini:
· take a bus CO.TRA.L. at the Arrivals to go to Anagnina Underground, then take an underground train to railway station. Duration about 00:50. From Railway Station Roma Termini there are trains to Benevento about every two hours (duration about 2:20), but there are intermediate runs too.
